Introduction The advancement in the technology has also helped the process of law in giving justice. One of such advancement which has helped law and can help law to a great extent is video conferencing. Video conferencing can be of use to a great extent in both civil and criminal trial. This paper examines the scope of using this technology for purposes of recording of evidence in a Court proceeding in the Indian context. Furthermore, this paper also looks into the international scenario on this aspect. The Present Scenario In the present scenario, the evidences are collected under the provisions of the Indian Evidence Act of 1872. In criminal proceedings, Sections 230 to 234 of Cr.
